Regional Sales Manager, Southeast
Don Johnston is Beaumont’s Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast region.
He started his career in the plastics industry in 2002 while working for a manufacturer’s rep firm
promoting melt pressure sensors and temperature sensors for plastics extrusion and injection molding
in North Carolina. Fascinated by the processing of plastics, he made a commitment to increase his
learning of the various types of sensors, controls, and auxiliary equipment, including electrical process
heating systems.
Following the next 15 years, Don was a National Sales Manager for two manufacturers of melt pressure
and temperature sensors, viscometers, polymer filtration, and controls.
Don has been with Beaumont since 2022 and is great at customer service and following through on
application needs, very dedicated to becoming a reliable source as an account manager.
He consistently seeks more in-depth knowledge and has attended training seminars taught by the
American Injection Molding Institute.
Don is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina and attended Central Piedmont Community College. Don
currently resides in Indian Trail, NC just outside of Charlotte, with his wife, Lynn and daughter Emory.
