AIM Training Coordinator

Location: Erie, Pennsylvania

Reports to: AIM Director

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Position Summary:

The Training Coordinator (TC) will be responsible for supporting the efforts of the American Injection Molding (AIM) Institute’s Instructor and Management Team. The TC will be responsible for coordinating various activities required for training courses held at the AIM Institute and off-site.


  • Develop course & online meeting schedules
    • Coordinate the schedule of AIM’s instructors accordingly
  • Use of specific software, not limited to:
    • AIM database
    • Zoom (or other online meeting software)
    • Gmail
    • Google Calendar
    • Adept
  • Data entry
    • Excel spreadsheets
    • AIM database
  • Maintain document control
  • Excel spreadsheet creation
  • Email and manage student homework assignments
  • Update course syllabi as needed
  • Daily communication with AIM students and instructors
  • Enrollment Evaluations
  • Download and grade student results with associated PPT files
  • Notify instructors
  • Schedule online reviews with students and their managers as needed
  • Accreditations
    • Assist in achieving and maintaining appropriate course/program accreditations
    • Assist in ANAB audits
    • Perform ANAB internal audits
  • Review student exams
    • Verify scores
    • Data entry of exam question results for analytics into Excel
  • Course and Instructor evaluations
    • Student course follow-up / sales support
    • Enter data into spreadsheets for analytical purposes
  • Research education and training grants and coordinating efforts between the state funding and the students
  • Document editing in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Perform the duties of the Administrative Assistant when that employee is not available due to sickness or vacation or other
  • Manage other job responsibilities/tasks as assigned
  • Attend and participate in companywide and AIM specific meetings
  • Assist in writing/editing/managing company policies and procedures
  • Participate in and help direct activities related to Advisory Board meetings
  • Participate in and help direct activities related to Executive Summit meetings
  • Assist sales, marketing, and other departments and other company divisions as directed


  • High school graduate at a minimum; business or other degree from a university preferred
  • History of working proficiently with Microsoft Office programs (Excel and Powerpoint)
  • History of working proficiently with Gmail and Zoom
  • Analytical and interpretive skills are key
  • Keen attention to detail is required
  • Previous experience with quality systems and audits preferred
  • Organizational skills are essential
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while being responsible for task completion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with customer relations and customer service
