Training Coordinator (AIM Institute)

Overview

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the efforts of the American Injection Molding (AIM) Institute Instructor Team to provide industry-leading education and training for the plastic injection molding industry.

(S)he will be responsible for coordinating all training courses held at the AIM Institute, including but not limited to managing classroom and course materials preparation, coordinating catering, record keeping, greeting and assisting all professional students while on-site, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

(S)he will also serve a key role in helping the AIM Institute maintain its current accreditation. Familiarity with quality and/or auditing systems is a plus. In addition, this position will assist in researching funding sources for potential AIM students, including local, state, and federal grants.

The incumbent must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.

Candidates must be professional, polite, and attentive to all employees and guests. Excellent customer service skills are a must.

Standard work hours are 8:00am-5:00pm. During days where AIM Institutes classes are being conducted, hours will be from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

 Essential Job Functions

  • Manage administrative support for AIM’s instructor team, including course scheduling, course materials preparation, online meeting scheduling, filing, and data entry.
  • Assist with document and spreadsheet creation and editing in Microsoft Office software.
  • Manage preparations for onsite student and customer visits, including catering coordination and classroom / meeting room setup.
  • Assist with the internal and external audit requirements for ANSI Accreditation.
  • Provide administrative support to AIM Institute and Beaumont employees.
  • Assist with phone support, including screening phone calls and routing calls as appropriate.
  • Assist with the ordering of office supplies and coordination of vendor deliveries.
  •  Maintain confidentiality of all company and customer data, including but not limited to: purchase orders, employee data, and customer accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of related experience working in a professional environment.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software programs, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with multiple departments and customer groups.
  • This position requires a valid driver’s license.

Injection Molding Process Technician (Beaumont Advanced Processing)

Overview

This position requires an individual with a diverse range of skills, experience and abilities. The molding technician will perform process startups and mold setups. This individual must have strong communication skills due to the interaction between various groups. This is a first shift position.

 Essential Job Functions

  • Check all auxiliary equipment including the dryers, thermolators, chillers, etc.
  • Assure that all equipment is working
  • Responsible for following all documented work flow procedures
  • Responsible for the startup and shut down of the presses.
  • Responsible for following all safety protocol.
  • Review the job requirements with personnel responsible for the running job.
  • Responsible for removing and hanging injection molds

Required Skills and Experience

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Knowledge of injection molding and operation of injection molding machines.
  • Experience with engineering grade resins.
  • Ability to work with all auxiliary equipment including dryers, thermolators, chillers, etc.

Press Operator (Beaumont Advanced Processing)

Overview

This position will be responsible for visually inspecting injection molded plastic parts to ensure all parts meet specified quality standards. (S)he will be responsible for safely packaging all finished parts for shipment. This is a first shift position.

Keen attention to detail is a must.

Contract position with the possibility of full-time hire after 90 days.
