Graphic Designer & Animator

Beaumont’s Graphic Designer and Animator will be responsible for creating both 3D and 2D graphics and animations for Beaumont and the American Injection Molding (AIM) Institute.

(S)he will be responsible for creating new and original graphics and animations, product videos, training materials, and a variety of additional digital assets.

This individual must be a self-starter and be able to reliably complete projects and deliverables within clearly defined deadlines.

The successful candidate will possess a keen attention to detail.

Candidates will be asked to show examples of work during the interview process.

Essential Job Functions
• Creating and editing a wide variety of 3D and 2D graphics and animations, including but not limited to: layouts, videos for product illustrations, company logos, training materials, and website content.
• Reliably meeting deadlines and creating visual assets that meet project specifications.
• Coordinating with outside agencies as required, including but not limited to graphics designers, video production teams, and printers.

Required Skills and Experience
• Strong familiarity with graphic design and animation software
– Autodesk Maya or Maxon Cinema 4D, or similar
– Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, + After Effects
• Strong graphic design skills

Administrative Assistant (AIM)

The Administrative Assistant will serve a vital role in completing the day-to-day administrative tasks for the AIM Institute. Applicant will be responsible for assisting AIM Instructors, Director, and students in a variety of ways. This individual must maintain a professional demeanor and work well with customers. Having a keen sense for details and excellent computer and analytical skills are a must.

Essential Job Functions
Support for AIM to include the following items, but are not limited to:

  • Course scheduling
  • Ensure printed materials and student supplies are available for each course
  • Data entry (Excel spreadsheets and AIM database)
  • Document control
  • Organizing, printing, and shipping course materials
  • Scheduling online meeting scheduling
  • Spreadsheet creation
  • Student registrations
  • Student homework assignments
  • Updating course syllabi
  • Scheduling proctors for student exams
  • Daily communication with AIM students
  • Download and grade student evaluations
  • ANSI/ANSB accreditation and auditing
  • Review student exam scores and data entry of exam question results for analytics
  • Student course follow-up / sales support
  • Research education and training grants and coordinating efforts between the state funding and the students
  • Document editing in Microsoft Office software
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company and customer data, including but not limited to: purchase orders, employee data, and customer accounts
  • Other duties as assigned as the job and business climate changes

Required Skills and Experience

  • High school graduate at a minimum; business or other degree from a university preferred
  • History of working proficiently with Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel) and Gmail is required
  • Analytical and interpretive skills are key, with a keen attention to detail
  • Previous experience with quality systems and audits preferred
  • Organizational skills are essential
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while being responsible for task completion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with customer relations and customer service

Standard work hours will be 7:00am to 4:00pm M-F. Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
