The industry has asked for hot runners with MeltFlipper® inside and we have responded. BTI worked in unison with INCOE® Corporation to produce the industry’s next generation of optimized hot runner manifolds that eliminate the shear-induced imbalances found within traditional hot runner designs. The end result was the Opti-Flo® hot runner system.
Opti-Flo® manifolds are the first scientifically and rheologically designed hot runner systems that provide a more homogeneous melt distribution and balanced filling to and within all cavities while avoiding invasive and restrictive mixers. Opti-Flo manifolds reduce the need for nozzle temperature variations to balance filling, thereby improving cavity-to-cavity consistency and overall product quality with the ability to run faster cycle times!
With the Opti-Flo® hot runner manifold, there is no need to purchase additional sensors or controlling / monitoring equipment, no additional bells or whistles - the Opti-Flo® system is mechanically designed to work within itself...period.
