Veri-flo™ II Material Verification Service

Beaumont Technologies' Veri-flo™ II Material Verification Service is a proprietary method used to benchmark actual molding conditions versus simulation predictions. This gives Beaumont engineers the ability to collect process and material information, compare the data to the analysis output and utilize this information in the CAE analysis to provide a more accurate interpretation of the result files.

The Veri-flo™ II service was developed as a less expensive option to using outside testing laboratories, while also helping to verify the accuracy of “equivalent materials” and the software code itself.

Even if the CAE material database does contain your exact material, supplier and grade, the data may not be valid for several reasons:

  1. Improper rheological characterization
  2. Use of generic family data (Generic PVT)
  3. Single point thermal conductivity or specific heat values verses tabulated data

Any of these may cause the simulation to either over or under estimate pressure predictions, which can be the difference between success and failure of a project.

The Veri-flo™ II service requires 20 lbs of your specific material be sent to Beaumont. If you are interested in this service, please check the Veri-flo™ II box on the CAE Request Form.
